Sunderland double-crossed M’Vila
The midfielder of Rubin Kazan Yann M’Vila had an intention to move to Sunderland before the closing of a transfer window, but nobody answered the Frenchman’s calls in the club.
M’Vila’s transfer to Sunderland has been rejected practically at the last minute. It is reported that the parties were close to sign a contract, however, as a result, the Black Cats just decided to ignore Yann and ceased to contact him.
The football player was very disappointed with such turn of events and wrote about that on social networks later on.
“I called to Sunderland, however nobody picked up the phone. Why? My heart is broken”, – the Frenchman told.
M’Vila took off for England on Wednesday in hope to sign the agreement with Sunderland. Now the playmaker is coming back to Rubin, where he has the contract till this January.
It is quite possible Yann will try to move to the English club again in a winter transfer window.
M’Vila played on a leasehold basis in Sunderland last season.
After 37 games in the EPL, he scored a goal and made 6 assists.
