The forward Seydou Doumbia: Moving to China is not for me.

The forward of “Newcastle” Seydou Doumbia has told about his career in England.

“It is hard for football player to remain on a bench. But first of all I needed to merge with the team. I consider that I coped with it. So it is high time to me show myself on the field. I think, it should happen soon though there aren’t too much matches until the end of a season.
I don’t want to play for “Roma” any more. Though they still own the rights for me. I would like to come to the club where I feel better.
“Roma” didn’t give me the chance to continue playing for CSKA though I was ready to sign the contract for half a year, but the owners changed their mind. So I had the following choice: either to sit in a bench with “Roma”, or try another tournament. So, I took decision to move to “Newcastle”.
I rejected offers from the Chinese clubs so far. I want to play in some good tournaments, but I can’t say it about the championship of China. So I refused”, – Doumbia said.
