Mino Raiola received € 27 million for Paul Pogba
He received £ 24 million for Paul Pogba, the Juventus midfielder transfer to Manchester United, last summer. Leaving the Old Trafford in 2012, the former Bianconeri’s playmaker came back to the Red Devils in the status of world’s most expensive footballer last summer. It is commonly admitted that the transfer costed MU £ 89 million.
However, the Juventus director general, Giuseppe Marotta told about different figures at the annual meeting of the club shareholders.
“The requested contact price was € 105 million (£ 94 million) plus another € 5 million (£4.5 million), if the player would extend his contract with the club or would be sold for more than € 50 million (£44.7 million)”.
“We received about € 95 million in total. His representative Mino Raiola received € 27 million (£24 million). Net profit from the sale was € 72 million (£ 64.5 millions) “
“We did not want to sell him. We wanted him to stay in the Juventus. He came to us from the MU and after four years he decided to return to England. He wanted to leave at any cost”, Sky Sports quotes Marotta.
