Josep Guardiola’s guys coped with the Foxes (2:0)

Foxes  – simple rival for the ManCity

The Foxes were stronger than Man City at the King Power Stadium last season (4:2). However, the Citizens are in such a great shape now (31 out of 33 possible points), Leicester City success was hard to believe.
Nevertheless, the Puel’s team acted in a very organized way, not allowing the Blue Moon to go wild. The best Premier League player in October Leroy Sane made unusual mistakes. So Danny Simpson won a duel with the German on the flank over and over again.

First half

The first goal scored right in the end of the first time. David Silva and Gabriel Jesus turned to be the closest to Schmeichel’s goal after a good attack. The Spaniard wasn’t greedy and made his eighth assist for Jesus to score his next goal in the current Premier League!

Second Half

Anyway, Leicester did not plan to give up. Vardy could score as soon as the teams show up onto the field in the second half-time. The ball almost reached Ederson’s goal line after the Jamie’s kick. And only the bar saved the Citizens when Maguire shot!
But City is City, and Leicester’s plans did not really bother them. Fernandinho immediately picked up the ball after the rebound from the bar and passed to De Bruyne. The latter made a long pass to the partners in the Foxes penalty area. Sane waited until Kevin ran to the net and made a brilliant assist for the Belgian to shoot. It did not matter that 7 Leicester players were ready to defend as Kevin perfectly shot from the penalty area under the crossbar!

Conclusion

The Pep’s squad continued to control the game and could score a few more times. However, it would be unfair to the Foxes. The Foxes did not frighten the Blue Moon at all even with four forwards on the field (Vardy, Slimani, Okazaki, Iheanacho). To draw a conclusion, we can say Leicester played quite well. But one must play in an awesome way to count on points with the current Manchester City.
