Jordan Henderson played not the best match

Henderson answers to his criticism

Liverpool had problems in a match against Burnley because Henderson played not the best match as a midfielder: passiveness, a low performance in overcoming pressure of the rival.

He appeared too close to the attacking rivals and allowed players of Burnley to block him quickly, without allowing to begin the attack. It even resulted in fans’ cutting of his mistakes in a match against Burton where Liverpool won 5:0, and Klopp had to protect him personally after the match: “I see him at each training and if I had doubts, he wouldn’t be in club any more”.
Henderson coped with his role much better in a match against Tottenham, but all asked only about Sturridge after the match. When the team possessed a ball, Jordan successfully opened under Lovren and Matip’s assists, finding space behind the rival’s first line of pressure. When Liverpool defended, the Henderson’s competent performance considerably simplified the life of  defenders.
