The story which can open the way to a grand scandal in English football.
London Chelsea paid his former youth team player not to raise the sexual harassment. He became a victim of the sexual abuse from the former club’s chief scout Eddie Heath, who already passed away.
As reported by The Telegraph, the late Eddie Heath followed sexual harassment against the Chelsea youth team player in the 1970s. But when the victim threatened the “Aristocrats” managers to bring the story to the public, the club decided to pay him for the precious silence.
The victim believes that there were much more victims like him, but the story never became public fare. Initially, the club denied the former youth player accusations, but then decided to pay him.
The London club has already commented on the situation.
“Chelsea appealed to an external law firm to conduct an investigation in regard to the deceased individual, who worked at the club in the ’70s. The club contacted the FA to make sure they received all necessary assistance in the open investigation. It includes the supporting of all the necessary information the club is able to get. Chelsea will not comment while the investigation is in process.
